At 62 I am deciding what to do with the rest of my life. So when I came to JumpStart I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the leaders at JumpStart encouraged me to do new things and to reach out and meet new people. With the knowledge I gained in the workshop classes, I have helped my husband rework his resume for a new job and who knows what wonderful, fun job may lie just around the corner for me! I really appreciate all I learned from JumpSTART! It was motivational and educational; and it has helped me continue to grow.

JumpSTART Your Career is a program of The Alexandra Surdyk Jones Foundation, Inc., a 501-C-3 organization founded in 2006 and dedicated to helping women build successful attitudes in order to achieve their personal and professional goals and become self-sufficient.

JumpSTART Your Career was created in memory of Alexandra Surdyk Jones by her mother, Suze Surdyk Jones, who serves as the organization’s founder. The inspiration came from Alexandra’s concern for and interest in women struggling to find satisfying careers in a competitive culture with many possibilities as well as challenges. Her untimely death at the age of 31 brought her mother together with several other highly motivated business women and community leaders to develop a program to benefit women.
